We meet at the Tuning Fork
pub in Rathfarnham, Dublin, at 09.45am for the Sunday walks.
The Tuning Fork pub is
at the fork between Willbrook Road, Ballyboden Road and Whitechurch
Road. Coming from Nutgrove avenue or Harolds cross direction
just turn up by the Yellow house pub and go up the Willbrook
road for about 700 metres and the Tuning Fork is in the middle
of the road. The car park is on the right hand side of the
pub.
If you have no car then depending on where you are coming
from the following buses can take you to or near the meeting
point.
By bus:
The 16 A from Dublin Airport or 16 from Santry both pass through O Connell Street and travel
past the end of Willbrook Road (Yellow house pub).They start
at 8.30am on a Sunday and you should get off at the Yellow
House and walk up the Willbrook road to the Tuning Fork pub
which is about a 10 / 15 minute walk.
The 15b bus goes from Eden quay starting at 09.10am on Sunday and
goes up the Ballyboden road to Whitechurch right past the
meeting point.

If you become a regular walker you may be able to organise
a lift with someone who has a car and lives near you or on
the way, it really depends on where you live and if someone
near you is walking that day!
From the M50 direction exit
the M50 at the Firhouse exit and head away from Tallaght.
At the third roundabout go left and down the road until you
see the Tuning Fork on your right. |
